Summer opening hours

Don't worry, the library doesn't close in the summer either! We're just temporarily adjusting our opening hours until the new semester starts again. Check the schedule below to see how the University Library will be open during the summer.

JUNE – shortened opening hours June 16 - 27

JULY AND AUGUST – Wednesdays only

Wednesdays 8AM – 4PM
Faculty of Arts study room, Faculty of Medicine study room, Faculty of Education study room, Faculty of Science study room
Wednesdays 8AM – 12PM, 1PM – 3PM (only on July 2, July 19, July 16, August 13, August 20 and August 27)

Borrow books from the lending library and study rooms for the entire summer!

We are currently lending books from the lending desk with summer loan periods until Wednesday, 17 September 2025. You will be able to borrow books from the faculty study rooms for the entire summer from Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

To return borrowed books during the summer, please use the bibliobox outside the entrance to the main building of the University Library (Bráfova st. 3), or outside the faculty study rooms.
